Food / Ka mea ai (Bilingual) by Resi J. Suehiro

This title is part of a bilingual place-based island series called LITTLE ISLAND READERS. This individual board book is an ideal introduction to common themes for the littlest readers. Geared toward children, ages 1-5, the colorfully illustrated and engaging stories touch upon global themes with local connections. The English and ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i together help to anchor visual concepts with sounds and words making these books a fun reading and language starter for children.
